The Sports’ Premium allocation for 2014/15 is £9110.
Bullion Lane Primary school have bought into the enhanced programme with the School Sports Partnership (£5250) where we will develop and broaden PE provision in school.
This will include an increased participation in sports, provide more competitive school sport and contribute to pupils’ overall achievement. A ‘timber trail’ has been erected on the school field to develop and challenge pupils’ physical and social skills. ‘Can you?’ cards will be created to motivate the children and to provide challenge for the more able.
£2900 of this money will be spent on renewing and improving the indoor gymnastics equipment.
We have also appointed a sports’ leader in school to promote healthy lifestyles and to ensure that as many children as possible participate in sporting activities.
