For writing poetry in English, we used the clouds as our inspiration. The class walked out into the yard and wrote ideas down based on what they could see. As well as some super adjectives, we used wonderful similes as we compared the clouds to other things. We used this bank of ideas to write beautiful poetry back in the classroom.
