The school French Club is well underway. The club meets on a Friday in the Petit Chateau and once you pass through the doors you leave your English behind and speak French. We learn all about French speaking countries and customs and cultures as well as the language itself.
In November, we were very busy and started Christmas early as we partook in a huge European Project. We linked up with 30 schools from around Europe and exchanged Christmas traditions, foods we eat at Christmas, and who brings our presents. All packages were sent via snail mail and we wondered at some of the beautiful stamps on the envelopes.
Our 30 packages traveled to Italy, Spain, Estonia, Hungary, Belgium, Croatia, Belgium, France and many more. We are intending to keep in touch with them and establish great links.
